A Note on Dog Licenses
Please note that I do not require the dogs in my care to be licensed with the City of Toronto.
However, licensing your dog is good for you, your pet and also for me. And it’s incredibly easy and inexpensive.
The fees go directly to Toronto Animal Services to help support programs such as pet adoption, spaying/neutering and providing medical care for lost and homeless animals.
As your dog walker, I am responsible for your pet while he/she is in my care. I can be fined $240.00 for walking an unlicensed dog – and if fined 3 times, I could lose my Dog Walking License and insurance and be fined up to $5000.00.
Again, I do not require pets in my care to be licensed, however, for the above reasons it would be my pleasure to license your dog for you.
My service is FREE. All you pay is the license fee. I do the work.
The fee to license your dog in Toronto is $25.00 per year ($12.50 per year for seniors).
If you would like me to provide this service please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
